The Tree In My Garden Is Gone

A short comic about unexpected loss, and healing through community.
You can purchase the full e-book version of the comic on my itchio shop.

Beyond the Lantern Light

When faced with grief, taxes, and a weird deer, Marta, an older woman, does the only truly responsible thing: runs away. Fleeing into the Unending Night, Marta doesn’t expect to get roped into a mission to figure out why it has expanded for the first time in living memory. But despite her intentions, she finds that there are many secrets to be discovered where the sun never rises.
Updates Thursdays.

Space Boy

I worked as an assistant for Stephen McCranie's Space Boy from episodes 228-336 and 338-341. While I mostly inked backgrounds, I also frequently did flats and colors, and I trained other assistants throughout my time working on the project. All characters, writing, etc. belong to Stephen McCranie, and I claim no ownership over the series. The following pages are to show a sample of my contribution to the project for the purposes of my portfolio.

Blue Skies and Forget Me Nots

With a team of three other people (Nat, Morph, and Welsh), we created BSFMN back in 2020! I was in charge of the colors.
Aro Ojeda has a normal life. Normal house, normal family, normal girlfriend... at least, that's what he thinks. One day, when he and Julia get sucked through a magical portal, they land in a place with unnaturally blue skies and unnaturally perfect people. As they fight to get home, Aro learns more about Julia's far-from-normal life. Both must choose what they value most: the lives they're used to, or their relationship?

Pot of Gold

I assist on Natasha Berlin's Pot of Gold (episodes 1-3, 8-current) as a colorist, flatter, and background artist. All characters, writing, etc. belong to Natasha Berlin, and I claim no ownership over the series. The following pages are to show a sample of my contribution to the project for the purposes of my portfolio.

Backgrounds for Animation

You can see these backgrounds used in "Next Up Forever" and "Murder By Bramble," which are multi-animator projects based on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. I was given thumbnails and color guides to work from. The last three images are all from one long background that I did for MBB, which was used for a scrolling part during the credits.

A cartoon drawing of Eli, a young man with short hair and glasses, eating some cheese.

Eli is a comic artist who eats far too much cheese for someone lactose intolerant.
When he's not making comics, Eli likes to go on walks in the park, play video games with his friends, and occasionally indulge in a nap with his cat.

If you have questions or you want something different from what I have listed here and on my Ko-fi, feel free to email me! I am also open to short comic commissions.

Terms and Conditions

  • Commissions are digital goods and will not be printed. The commissioner will receive one or more digital file(s) containing the drawing. The commissioner is allowed to print the drawing for personal use.

  • Payment will be all or half up-front, unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Payment will be through Venmo, PayPal Invoice, Ko-fi, or an alternative already agreed-upon method. No checks will be accepted.

  • If the commission is canceled by either party before work has begun, the client will receive a full refund. A partial refund will be given for canceled commissions already in progress, according to what stage they are at, matching the price that a commission at that stage would have been. Example: A full-color, full-body character with no background (priced at $105) that is canceled at the inks stage will only be charged $55, as that is how much a no color, full-body character with no background would have cost.

  • A character design commission (one with no visual reference provided) will require an $85 USD design fee. This is to cover the additional time spent creating the design and communicating with the client regarding design choices.

  • Rights to the drawing(s) belong to Elijah L., the artist. The commissioner will not resell the drawing, print for sale, use as NFT, use the drawing to generate AI images, edit the drawing using AI, or claim the drawing as their own work.

  • If the commissioner uses the drawing as an avatar, banner, or other graphic, visible credit must be given to Elijah (as either Elijahthemouse or Elijah L.).

  • Elijah has the right to refuse any commission for any reason.

  • The commissioner will not hire another artist to draw over the commission unless both Elijah and the other artist agree to it. The work can, however, be used as reference.

  • Elijah has the right to refuse large edits at the final stage of the completion (such as changing the character's pose or clothing), and you will still be required to pay the full price of the commission. If you still desire those edits, additional payment will be required.

  • You must be 18 years or older to commission Elijah.

  • By commissioning Elijah, you are agreeing to these terms.
